Could terraforming be construed as invasion? I forsee supreme superbugs finding a foothold in such an environment. Human immune systems may be enhanced by exposure to them. This may be coupled to immune systems on earth or other colonies developing differently with future visitations being a great risk, both ways. This field would have to be under continual research and development.
