About
Welcome future Colonists, Designers, and Master Architects of Earth’s Future!!

This site is dedicated to the open discussion, dialog, future planning, and inspiration of Space Colonization! Our hope here is to not only spur creative conversation and shared insight, but to begin the foundation for creating and building a contigency plan to safe guard our planet for our children, and our children’s children for years to come.
The system came live in September 2009 and will be changing and growing in the months to come. We ask you to be patient as the categories, bulletin boards, and other internet media becomes more and more available as time goes.

I have visited this site often and noticed that there isnt to many comments on the topics provided. Which is amazing to me. What is wrong with people, honestly. Evidently humans are not worried about their future. They say they are but its clear now that we are not serious about it. What is more important than the survival of our species. Night after night I walk out side and look up and see the future awaiting. Will I ever see it. I think not. What I do see is the end. As the years pass, I realize that our time here on earth is growing short. The population is growing at a devasatating rate , pollution is out of control, natural resources are being consumed carelessly. We will be the end of our own existence. What will be the turning point I wonder? What will wake everyone from this coma their walking around in everday? What catastrophic event will have to take place to make everyone realize that we have to leave this earth behind and start looking for a new home? Will we wait until its to late? I think so. I read everyday of new concepts, new “plans”, and ideas. The planning phase is over. The time to act is now, before its to late. I left a comment on the location topic, the starting point. The moon should be colonized at once. The spaceport to the solar system is there. Waiting to be built. But I fear by the time the debates are over, it will be too late. And we can hold no one to blame but ourselves, the humans. We owe it not only to our children and ourselves, but every single living species on the planet. We are the superior beings on this world, we are the intelligent ones. And all will suffer because of the human complacency. Because of our malingering. So lets procrastinate longer shall we. It’s just our lives, our speicies that will come to some horrible demise, thats all. But money is the issue is it not, we can spend millions to launch a satillite to orbit the moons of Jupiter. But we cant spend a dime getting a shuttle full of colonist 238857 miles away. Its a shame, the money wasted on resources in the name of science. Why not spend it wisely in the name of our survival. Then science. There is no science without scientist. There is no humanity without humans.
Thank you very much for your words of wisdom, Jeremy. You are right on so many levels. They are awe-inspiring to say the least.
You’re right.
I’ve added this site to search engines and other sites as well, and very little visits are being reported back which is unfortunate to us all. There are other sites making progress on the topic and some of them you can find in the links section.
I was hoping this site could really take off and help inspire others and future generations on this topic, and hopefully be the catalyst for future planners, dreamers, and designers to plan for our future. All of humanity’s future.
I’m not giving up hope though. I’ve even setup a full bulletin board system which is almost ready, for even more topical thread discussion.
I agree with you, I am disappointed on the turn-out so far, but I’m still hopeful the word will spread soon.
Have a great holiday, Jeremy! And thanks again for your insights.
